synopsis

Huevolución follows the trajectory of world-renowned 'chicken' artist Koen Vanmechelen, from his studio in the Belgian province of Limburg to the Havana Art Biennale in Cuba. Through interactions with various people, we discover the DNA of the artist and explore the intersections between art and science.
Huevolución volgt het traject van de wereldberoemde 'kippen'-kunstenaar Koen Vanmechelen, van zijn studio in de Belgische provincie Limburg tot op de Havana Art Biennale in Cuba. Doorheen gesprekken met verschillende mensen ontdekken we het DNA van de kunstenaar en verkennen we de raakvlakken tussen kunst en wetenschap.
