synopsis

Joris, coming out of a broken relationship, decides to leave Brussels and move to Portugal. However, a premonition causes him to turn back and to book into an old hotel. He starts wandering the city, dwelling in a twilight zone between remembering and forgetting, between dreaming and waking...
Bruxelles, l’année 1999, en noir et blanc. Un jeune homme essaie d’oublier l’amour et de trouver du réconfort.
De 26-jarige Joris is weer alleen na de breuk met zijn geliefde Valerie. Hij besluit Brussel te verruilen voor Portugal, maar een voorgevoel doet hem op zijn stappen terugkeren. Hij neemt een kamer in een oud familiehotel en trekt de stad in die hij officieel heeft verlaten...
