synopsis

A film crew criss-crosses England, trying to unravel the mystery surrounding Spirit of Eden, an album released 30 years ago that marked the passage from light into shadow for the band Talk Talk and lead singer Mark Hollis. From overwhelming obstacles to unpredictable encounters, the crew's journey soon turns into an organic quest, with silence as a horizon line and punk as a philosophy, driven by a belief that music is accessible to all, and that the human spirit transcends technique.
