An intimate portrait of teenager Roos who is struggling with the transition of her transgender sister Jules. A coming-of-age film set during a time in which nothing seems to be simple. Through Roos, we understand how enriching, crazy and sometimes lonely the transition process can be.
Een intiem portret van het tienermeisje Roos die worstelt met de transitie van haar transgender-zus Jules en alle aandacht die daar bij komt kijken. Vanuit Roos vertel ik, de andere zus van de familie, hoe een familiale verandering enorm verrijkend, gek en eenzaam tegelijk kan zijn. Jules & ik toont hoe moeilijk het kan zijn om groot te worden in een wereld waarin niets zeker of rechtlijnig is.
