Over the months leading up to their impending eviction, Ruben Desiere worked with a number of the inhabitants to create a film focusing on the family of Kevin Mro_.

  Kosmos se déroule dans le Couvent du Gesù à Bruxelles, où environ 250 personnes, dont de nombreuses familles Roms d’origine slovaque, se sont réfugiées jusqu’en novembre 2013. Ruben Desiere y tournait un film, basé sur le roman Cosmos de l’écrivain polonais Witold Gombrowicz, avec la participation d’une partie des occupants. Pendant le tournage, l’expulsion des occupants devient de plus en plus probable. Le film se concentre sur la famille de Kevin Mroč, qui a habité au Gesù pendant 3 ans, et sur deux nouveaux arrivants, Mižu Balázs et Rasto Vaňo.
• Tot november 2013 biedt het Gesùklooster in Brussel onderdak aan ongeveer 250 personen. Onder hen bevindt zich een grote groep Roma, oorspronkelijk afkomstig uit Slowakije. Terwijl een uitzetting van de bewoners steeds waarschijnlijker wordt, werkt Ruben Desiere met een deel van hen aan de film Kosmos, vrij gebaseerd op de gelijknamige roman van de Poolse schrijver Witold Gombrowicz. De film focust op het gezin van Kevin Mroč, dat drie jaar in Gesù woonde, en twee nieuwkomers, Mižu Balázs en Rasto Vaňo.
