Driven by the urge to unravel a deep-rooted family secret, Olga Lucovnicova travels to a remote town in the Ural Mountains. During her attempt to reconnect with the past, Russia starts a new war. Will the voices be silenced once again?

Met als doel een diepgeworteld familiegeheim te ontrafelen, reist filmmaakster Olga Lucovnicova vanuit België naar een afgelegen stadje, diep verscholen in de Russische Oeral. Net wanneer ze aansluiting probeert te vinden met haar onbekende familie en hun gemeenschappelijke verleden, begint Rusland een nieuwe oorlog.
