synopsis

How is it that ordinary Laura from Zoetermeer became the most famous Syrian in the Netherlands? Countless other girls have found themselves in similar situations, but have not been tempted to travel to the ‘promised land’. So why Laura?
Hoe kan het dat de doodgewone Laura uit Zoetermeer uitgroeit tot Nederlands bekendste Syriëganger? Talloze andere meisjes hebben in vergelijkbare situaties gezeten, maar zijn niet in de verleiding gekomen om naar ‘het beloofde land’ af te reizen. Waarom Laura dan wel?
