Listen To Me RMX invites you to listen. To imagine other people’s listening. And in doing so, to imagine your own. The film shows you people absorbed in listening, but doesn’t give you the sound listened to. Instead, it invites you to imagine their listening based on the subtle expressions of their face. The film questions our perceptions of listening; how we give meaning to sound, how it gives us a place in our lives. The film is a remix of an ongoing installation and research by the artist. The on-screen faces are fellow listeners he met during his work, mirroring his own listening journey.
