Yann, nephew of the dying Cassave, has been taken to Malpertuis in a state of unconsciousness. He has to be there to hear the dying wishes of his nephew, the owner of Malpertuis. No one is allowed to leave Malpertuis because if they do, they risk losing their share of his fabulous inheritance. But Yann doesn't want anything to do with Malpertuis and wishes to escape with his sister Nancy. But was this all a dream? In a modern clinic, a young man says goodbye to his psychiatrist who has just cured him.
