Fifteen-year-old Max sets off for Saint-Hilaire in search of his father, the famous troubadour Johnny Bigoude who disappeared shortly after Max's birth. But he is waylaid by Sam, a nefarious fairground entertainer.
Max, 15 ans, part à Saint-Hilaire à la recherche de son père, le célèbre troubadour Johnny Bigoude, qui a disparu peu après la naissance de Max. Il est assailli par Sam, un forain gavroche ambulant.
