synopsis

An old woman lives with her adult son in a rural village, in the 19th century. After a drunken incident, the son disappears. The mother goes looking for him, without success. When the Devil suddenly arrives in the village, all hell breaks loose. 'Milk' is about family ties and their destructive consequences.
Une vieille femme vit avec son fils adulte dans un village rural, au XIXe siècle. Après un incident lié à l'alcool, le fils disparaît. La mère part à sa recherche, sans succès. Lorsque le Diable arrive soudainement dans le village, c'est le chaos total. 'Melk' traite des liens familiaux et de leurs conséquences destructrices.
In een afgelegen 19de-eeuws dorpje woont een oudere vrouw met haar volwassen zoon samen. Wanneer de zoon na een dronken incident verdwijnt, zoekt de moeder heel het dorp af, zonder succes. Als de duivel plots in het dorp aankomt, breekt de hel pas echt los.
'Melk' gaat over familiebanden en de destructieve gevolgen die ze kunnen hebben.
