synopsis

Winter 2012: interned against her will in a psychiatric hospital in Tehran, Iranian psychoanalyst Mitra Kadivar begins an email correspondence with Jacques-Alain Miller, founder of the World Association of Psychoanalysis. Summer 2017: an artistic team creates an opera inspired by these exchanges while absorbing the reality of a psychiatric hospital.
Hiver 2012 – Internée contre son gré dans un hôpital psychiatrique, Mitra Kadivar, psychanalyste iranienne, entame une correspondance avec Jacques-Alain Miller, fondateur de l’Association Mondiale de Psychanalyse. 2017 – Une équipe artistique s’inspire de ces échanges pour créer un opéra en s’empreignant de la réalité d’un hôpital psychiatrique.
