An animated short about three very different Syrians, from differeent cultural and religious backgrounds, living in Damascus.

synopsis

Mosaic tells the story of three Syrians, from different cultural and religious backgrounds, living in Damascus who all share the same destiny. While the viewer will discover a beautiful and unique visual world from the Middle East, at the same time this project's aim is to inform and educate the audience about the multicultural structure of Syria, in order to break prejudices about Syrian refugees and to create a conversation between different cultures.
Mosaic vertelt het verhaal van drie buren in Damascus, drie jonge Syriërs met verschillende culturele en religieuze achtergronden die hetzelfde lot delen. Het publiek zal een prachtige, unieke visuele wereld uit het Midden-Oosten ontdekken. Tegelijk heeft dit project als doel om te informeren en iets bij te brengen over de multiculturele structuur van Syrië. Op die manier kan een aantal vooroordelen over Syrische vluchtelingen doorbroken worden en kan een dialoog tussen verschillende culturen ontstaan.
