In this experimental, autobiographical film, Viet Vu asks what Virginia Woolf’s A Room of One’s Own and personal filmmaking mean to queer artists in a time of migration.

synopsis

A Vietnamese filmmaker who recently emigrated to Belgium portrays his relationship with his French partner in their shared apartment. Their story is accompanied by a letter sent back to Vietnam, telling the filmmaker’s father about his son’s life, sexuality and creative work.
