In a dystopian alternative reality, a young generation is coping with the effects climate change.

synopsis

On a beacon in a flooded area, nine-year-old Phlox and her three brothers are waiting for the water to subside. During one of their attempts to reach higher ground, things go wrong and the water drives the siblings apart. With the passing of tides, and spring tide approaching, Phlox must find a way to soften the harsh reality.
Dans une zone inondée, Phlox (9) et ses trois frères attendent que l'eau se retire. Lors d'une de leurs tentatives pour atteindre un terrain plus élevé, les choses tournent mal et l'eau les sépare de force. Alors que la marée de printemps approche, Phlox doit trouver un moyen d'adoucir la dure réalité.
Op een baken in een overstroomd gebied wachten de negenjarige Phlox en haar drie broers tot het water wegtrekt. Maar tijdens een van hun dagelijkse pogingen om hoger gelegen gebied te bereiken, gaat het mis en drijft het water hen uit elkaar. Met het verstrijken van de getijden en het naderende springtij, moet Phlox een manier vinden om de harde realiteit te verzachten.
