A group of young newcomers to Belgium share their stories, through music and performance.

Four adolescent immigrants have been in Belgium for about a year: Aya from Syria; Zineb from Morocco; Simeon from Dominican Republic; and Sofia from Colombia. As they try to integrate, they discover this land of opportunities turns out to be quite dull, sometimes even hostile. Looking for ways to express their wonder and frustration, they gather in a theatre and let their imaginations take flight. Drawing on their storytelling skills, and the music of their homelands, they share their stories.
Vier jonge immigranten, Aya uit Syrië, Zineb uit Marokko, Simeon uit Dominicaanse Republiek en Sofia uit Colombia wonen sinds een jaar in België. Terwijl ze hun best doen om te integreren, ontdekken ze dat dit land van opportuniteiten nogal droog blijkt te zijn, soms zelfs vijandig. Op zoek naar manieren om hun verwondering en frustratie te uiten, komen ze samen in een theater en neemt hun fantasie de bovenhand. Met hun sappige verhalen, dansende lichamen en ritmes uit hun thuisland vertellen ze hun verhaal.
