The story of Zineb El Rhazoui, a young Moroccan journalist who, in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo attack, finds her life radically transformed: from being a censored journalist in Morocco, she becomes the most protected woman in France.
In Rien n’est pardonné brengen Vincent Coen en Guillaume Vandenberghe het verhaal van activiste en journaliste Zineb El Rhazoui die haar thuisland Marokko ontvlucht na de Arabische Lente. In Parijs start ze een nieuw professioneel leven op de redactie van Charlie Hebdo, tot de terreur genadeloos toeslaat. Haar leven neemt daarna een radicale wending, van gecensureerde journaliste in Marokko tot de meest beschermde vrouw van Frankrijk.
Vandenberghe en Coen ontmoetten de jonge, geëngageerde vrouw voor het eerst in 2011 en beginnen haar te filmen. Na de aanslagen in Parijs komt Zineb plots wereldwijd in de schijnwerpers te staan. Met Rien n’est pardonné tonen Vandenberghe en Coen de vrouw achter het wereldnieuws. Een vrouw die slagen incasseert, maar die zich niet laat tegenhouden in haar poging haar eigen leven in handen te nemen.
