An observational comedy about the pleasure of looking, in a place where there seems to be nothing to see.

A spectacular lunar eclipse is about to take place, but it won’t be visible in Lumiar, a dormitory town stuck between Lisbon’s beltway and its airport. But then nothing ever happens in this pastel-coloured residential area, where time feels suspended. A police officers stands in the middle of the road, with no traffic to control. The voice of a young girl on an intercom echoes through the streets. A missing cat walks around. A piano flies above a building. Through collages of micro-events, multi-layered frames revealing absurd situations, detailed soundscapes and playful choreographies of everyday life, the film invites the viewer to reconnect with a childlike sense of wonder and imagination, when boredom was a blessing.
Dans une cité-dortoir portugaise, une éclipse lunaire invisible est sur le point d'avoir lieu. Une comédie d'observation sur le plaisir de regarder, dans un endroit où il semble n'avoir rien à voir.
