A journey through space and time.

synopsis

In Ojo guareña, we join a group of speleologists who enter the gigantic cave of the same name in Spain. We barely notice the prehistoric traces and the contours of the spaces, but we hear all the better: drops of water that have for ages been recreating the shape of the cave and continue to do so to date, as well as echoes of human footsteps. Edurne Rubio punctuates this soundscape with memories of the speleologists and revolutionary songs that denounce Franco's dictatorship. A journey through space and time.
Dans le film Ojo Guareña, nous pénétrons avec un groupe de spéléologues dans la gigantesque grotte éponyme en Espagne. On n'y perçoit à peine les traces préhistoriques et les délimitations des espaces. Toutefois, paradoxalement, on y entend d'autant mieux les gouttes d'eau qui depuis des siècles façonnent la grotte, ainsi que la prégnance des échos de pas humains. Edurne Rubio parsème ce paysage sonore de souvenirs de spéléologues et de chants de résistance révolutionnaires contre le régime dictatorial de Franco. Un voyage à travers l'espace et le temps.
In Ojo Guareña gaan we met een groep speleologen in de gelijknamige gigantische grot in Spanje binnen. De prehistorische sporen en de contouren van de ruimtes nemen we bijna niet waar, maar we horen des te meer: waterdruppels die sinds eeuwen en nog steeds de vorm van de grot herscheppen, echo's van menselijke voetstappen. Deze soundscape doorspekt Edurne Rubio met herinneringen van de speleologen en revolutionaire verzetsliederen tegen Franco's dictatoriaal regime. Een reis doorheen ruimte en tijd.
