Eline, a sociable young physiotherapist is assigned six-year-old Joy, who has ended up in a rehabilitation centre after a car accident. It is not long before she realises that the key to Joy's recovery is her father, a mysterious young businessman who has become entirely focused on himself and his work after the accident. Determined to help Joy, Eline confronts Lars but, in the process, they find themselves becoming increasingly drawn to each other.
Alleen Eline vertelt het verhaal van Eline, een jonge, sociale fysiotherapeute die samenwoont met haar charmante beste vriend. In haar nieuwe job moet ze zich ontfermen over de zesjarige Joy, die na een tragisch auto-ongeval in een revalidatiecentrum is beland. Al snel beseft Eline dat de sleutel tot herstel Joys vader Lars is, een jonge, punctuele en mysterieuze zakenman die na het auto-ongeval enkel gefocust is op zichzelf en zijn werk. In haar vastberadenheid om Joy te helpen gaat Eline de confrontatie aan met Lars en groeien ze steeds meer naar elkaar toe. Het wordt een aanzet tot conflict, humor en romantiek.
