synopsis

Crocodile-men, a mystic river, some kids who like fishing and a war that ends share the same Colombian land: Bojaya. In this place, villagers have strange beliefs and celebrate the 'Novenario' death ritual. This might be the beginning of a very long story, where spirits and humans meet each other to learn what is there to life after the end of war.
Des hommes crocodiles, une rivière mystique, des gamins qui aiment pêcher et une guerre qui se termine, se partagent la même terre : le village de Bojaya. Dans ce lieu, les villageois ont d'étranges croyances et célèbrent le "Novenario", un rituel funèbre. Ce pourrait être le début d'une très longue histoire, où les esprits et les humains se rencontrent pour apprendre ce qui reste à la vie après la fin de la guerre.
Krokodil-mannen, een mystieke rivier, kinderen die graag vissen en een oorlog die op z’n einde loopt, delen allemaal hetzelfde stuk Colombiaans land: het dorp Bojaya. De dorpelingen houden er een vreemd geloof op na en vieren de dood met het “Novenario”-ritueel. Dat alles zou wel eens het begin kunnen zijn van een erg lang verhaal waarin geesten en mensen elkaar ontmoeten om te ontdekken wat het leven na de oorlog te bieden heeft.
