Suleyman tries to get his mother out of an apartment block taken over by drug gangs.

synopsis

Suleyman is released after seven years in prison, and is determined to pick up his life again. During his incarceration, his home, the apartment block Paradise, has been taken over by gangs and drug dealers. When the police decide to raid Paradise, Suleyman gets caught in the violence, with only one goal: to get back to his mother and take her to safety. Alongside rookie police officer Yasmine, Suleyman battles his way up, floor by floor.
Suleyman komt na zeven jaar vrij uit de gevangenis, vastberaden om zijn leven weer op te pikken. Zijn thuis, het appartementsblok Paradise’, is in de tussentijd helemaal verloederd en ingenomen door drugsdealers en gangsters. Uitgerekend vandaag beslist de politie Paradise te bestormen. Suleyman raakt gevangen in het geweld, met maar één doel: terug bij zijn moeder geraken en haar in veiligheid brengen. Samen met rookie politieagent Yasmine knokt hij zich verdieping per verdieping naar boven.
