synopsis

By playing with our collective filmic memory, its cinematic codes and narrative language, Plot Point questions the boundaries of reality and fiction. In the film, all the actions and characters are real people in real life, filmed with a hidden camera through the cinematic eye of the filmmaker and without any set-ups or instructions. New York City, its citizens and howling police cars, uniforms, ambulances and crowded streets, become a fictive filmic scenery.
En jouant avec notre mémoire filmique collective, ses codes cinématiques et le langage narratif, Plot Point remet en question les frontières entre la réalité et la fiction. Dans Plot Point, toutes les actions et personnages sont de vraies personnes dans la vraie vie, filmée à l’aide d’une caméra cachée à travers les yeux cinématiques du réalisateur et sans aucune installation ou instruction. La ville de New York, ses habitants et le pays des flics américains et les bruits de ses voitures de police, uniformes, ambulances, et des rues bondées se transforment très vite en décor fictif de film.
