A short film about the tension between two realms: the mundane and the sublime. How do we recover our meta-consciousness in order to justify our existence in a postmodern society with strict social requisites?

synopsis

Thirty-three-year-old Roman lives in a clean, white big-city loft apartment. He is committed and loving towards his wife Jenny and his baby son. Everything runs perfectly. But Roman has set his mind on his 'research' today. The film delves into an individual's struggle between an organised, successful, everyday reality and his urge to find a higher awareness of life.
Roman vit dans un loft blanc, a une vie parfaitement organisée, stable, et aime sa femme et son enfant. Mais comment peut il justifier son existence dans une société postmoderne et hyper réelle qui a des demandes sociales très strictes? Donc Roman a mis son esprit sur son ‘research’ pour une conscience plus élevée. Research est un court métrage sur la tension entre deux mondes: le quotidien et le sublime. Le film montre le conflit d'un individu entre une réalité quotidienne, parfaitement organisée et avec succès, et son envie de trouver une meilleure prise de conscience de l'état all-over de sa vie (respectable) humaine.
