Georges, who lives in a retirement home, thinks about his beloved wife Lou-Lou, with whom he used to perform as a musical duo. Rapsodie en Rose tells a story of loneliness, sadness, desperation, friendship and jealousy, softened by playful and surreal images.
De bejaarde Georges woont in een rusthuis en denkt terug aan zijn geliefde vrouw Lou-Lou, met wie vroeger hij een muzikaal duo vormde. Rapsodie en Rose vertelt het verhaal van eenzaamheid, verdriet en ontreddering, vriendschap en jaloezie. Deze eerder donkere thema’s worden verzacht door een speelse en surrealistische beeldtaal.
