S. and her boyfriend, both Europeans, live in New York. Her boyfriend doesn't give a damn about her. When he makes love to his ex-lover in front of her, S. kills them both. She flees to Europe, where she works in a peepshow and becomes Marie's lover. She wants to find her roots, but visits to her mother and her grandmother don't reveal the truth. She tries to find a reason for living, but even a priest she meets has no real answers. The priest stalks her. S. seduces and kills him. She flees back to New York, to her ex-lover Angie, whom she finds together with... Marie. On a videotape, her father reveals the truth : he violated her. S. considers suicide, but then she decides against it : Marie and S. will live together.
S. et son petit ami, tous deux européens, vivent à New York. Son petit ami ne lui accorde aucune attention. Lorsqu’il fait l’amour à son ex-copine en face d’elle, S. les tue tous les deux. Elle s’enfuit en Europe, où elle travaille dans un peep-show et devient l’amante de Marie. Elle veut trouver ses racines, mais les visites rendues à sa mère et à sa grand-mère ne lui révèlent pas la vérité. Elle essaye de trouver une raison de vivre, mais même un prêtre qu’elle rencontre ne peut lui donner une vraie réponse. Le prêtre rode autour d’elle . S. le séduit, puis le tue. Elle s’enfuit à nouveau à New York, chez son ancien petit ami Angie, qu’elle voit avec… Marie. Dans une cassette enregistrée, son père lui révèle la vérité: il l’a violée. S. pense au suicide, mais prend ensuite un autre décision : elle et Marie vivront ensemble.
