synopsis

To protect themselves from a world in crisis, King Prospero and his followers have withdrawn to a safe, secure castle. To alleviate the worries of his guests, he has provided all means of entertainment: an orchestra plays music; a ballerina dances; a fool jokes and a pope prays. There is abundance, beauty, wine... a bizarre masked ball... In seven rooms - each decorated in a different colour - guests are immersed in exceptional splendour. But the last room is different...
Koning Prospero heeft zich met zijn volgelingen teruggetrokken in een sterk beveiligd slot om zich af te schermen van de buitenwereld in crisis. Om de zorgen van zijn gasten te verdrijven heeft hij voor alle middelen tot vermaak gezorgd. Binnen speelt het orkest, danst de ballerina, gekscheert de nar en bidt de paus. Er is overvloed, schoonheid en wijn. Een bizar gemaskerd bal... In zeven kamers, elk in een andere kleur, worden de gasten ondergedompeld in uitzonderlijke pracht en praal. Maar de laatste kamer is anders.
