A film based on the eponymous book by Andrew Feinstein, former ANC Member of Parliament in South Africa, where he served under Nelson Mandela.

synopsis

Shadow World reveals how the international trade in weapons - with the complicity of governments and intelligence agencies, investigative and prosecutorial bodies and weapons manufacturers - fosters corruption, determines economic and foreign policies and undermines democracy.
Shadow World explore l’industrie de l’armement globale : un business dans lequel les bénéfices sont calculés en dizaines de millions de dollars, tandis que les pertes sont calculées en nombre de vies humaines. Le film s’inspire du livre du même titre d’Andrew Feinstein, un ancien membre ANC du parlement d’Afrique du Sud, où il a travaillé sous la direction de Nelson Mandela.
