synopsis

Simon, a lonely gay man in his forties, longs for a more fulfilling sex life, but struggles with feelings of rejection both on dating apps and in real-life encounters. Until one day he feels noticed by a young cashier at a local night shop. At first spontaneously, but then more methodically, he sets his mind to winning him over, seemingly lost in his own fantasy about the situation. By the time he decides to change his approach, it is already a bit too late.
Simon, un homme gay solitaire dans la quarantaine, aspire à une vie sexuelle plus épanouie, mais lutte contre des sentiments de rejet, à la fois sur les applications de rencontres et lors de rencontres dans la vie réelle. Jusqu'au jour où il se sent remarqué par un jeune caissier dans un magasin de nuit local. D'abord de manière plus spontanée, puis plus méthodiquement, il se met en tête de le séduire, apparemment perdu dans ses propres fantasmes sur la situation. Mais lorsqu'il décide de changer d'approche, il est déjà un peu trop tard.
Simon, een eenzame gay man in de veertig, verlangt naar een meer vervullend seksleven, maar worstelt met gevoelens van afwijzing, zowel op datingapps als bij ontmoetingen in het echte leven. Totdat hij op een dag opgemerkt wordt door een jonge kassier in een lokale nachtshop. Eerst spontaner, maar daarna methodischer, zet hij zijn zinnen op het veroveren van hem, ogenschijnlijk verloren in zijn eigen fantasie over de situatie. Tegen de tijd dat hij besluit zijn aanpak te veranderen, is het al een beetje te laat.
