On board the navy ship Louise-Marie, a new group of sailors is confronted with the challenges of this seafaring micro-society. Standby portrays the journey of four young adults during a crucial NATO training exercise, where they experience what it means to be on standby every single day.
Aan boord van het marineschip Louise-Marie wordt een nieuwe groep matrozen geconfronteerd met de uitdagingen van deze varende micromaatschappij, ver weg van huis.
