synopsis

Stardust is the second part of the Plot Point trilogy in which Nicolas Provost investigates the boundaries between fiction and reality by filming everyday life with a hidden camera and turning this reality into a film, utilising cinematic and narrative codes from Hollywood film language. While Plot Point was filmed around Times Square, this time Provost turns the glorious and ambiguous power of the Las Vegas strip into an exciting crime story using real Hollywood stars.
Stardust est la seconde partie de la trilogie Plot Point dans laquelle Provost examine les frontières de la fiction et la réalité en filmant la vie quotidienne avec une caméra cachée et transformant cette réalité en un film de fiction en utilisant des codes cinématographiques et narratifs du langage filmique hollywoodien. Alors que Plot Point a été filmé dans les alentours de Times Square, cette fois-ci Provost transforme le pouvoir splendide et ambigu de Las Vegas en une histoire de meurtre prenante en utilisant des vraies stars hollywoodiennes.
