Sometime in the future, a man attempts to flee his monotonuous life in the cheerless suburbs of a totalitarian city state. He manages to stop a train on the railwaybridge over the immense forest separating the city from it's suburbs, and makes his escape into the woods. A few days later he is joined there by a woman, his neighbour in the suburbs, who, upon retracing his steps, managed to track him down. Once in the forest, their mutual attraction, latent in the suburbs, can finally come to life. If not for the city police who secretly followed the woman, leading them to our man. From a helicopter, two police killers with machineguns are lowered into the forest.
