This movie consists of two parts. Part one is a compilation of archive pictures, news footage and reconstructions of events. Through this compilation the viewer sees the story of a country with lots of conventions and rituals. In the second part we follow a group of young people travelling through Belgium. Their story is related to the pictures we saw in part one.

Ce film est composé de deux parties. La première est une compilation d’archives de photographies, d’enregistrements d’infos et de reconstructions d’évènements. Au travers de cette compilation, le spectateur voit l’histoire d’un pays plein de conventions et de rituels. Dans la seconde partie, nous suivons un groupe de jeunes gens qui voyagent en Belgique. Leur histoire est liée aux images qui sont visionnées dans la première partie.
