Surplace comprises four black and white documentaries about specific streets and hills in Flanders. Each year at the same locations, a peloton passes the houses of the long-term residents. The films not only focus on these people but also on the evolving landscapes and on the craziness of this one-day-in-the-year-only cycling madness.
