synopsis

Table Dialogues is the brainchild of artist duo Robbert&Frank Frank&Robbert, based on their personal experience playing and making. Step into their shoes and experience in small groups – of friends or strangers – what it’s like to enter and activate a new universe. Every experience is a performance/installation in which the input of the participants shapes the story. Immersion is based on virtual and physical elements — think clay, chalk, sand, and water, combined with VR-headsets, animation, voice-over and soundscape.
Table Dialogues est le fruit de l’imagination du duo d’artistes Robbert&Frank Frank&Robbert, né de leur expérience personnelle de jeu et de création. Entrez dans leur peau et découvrez, en petits groupes – d’amis ou d’inconnus – ce que cela signifie d’entrer et d’activer un nouvel univers. Chaque expérience est une performance/installation dans laquelle l’apport des participants façonne l’histoire. L’immersion repose sur des éléments virtuels et physiques - pensez à l’argile, à la craie, au sable et à l’eau, combinés avec des casques VR, de l’animation, une voix off et un paysage sonore.
Table Dialogues is het geesteskind van het kunstenaarsduo Robbert&Frank Frank&Robbert. Stap in hun schoenen en ervaar in kleine groepen – met vrienden of onbekenden – hoe het is om een nieuw universum te betreden en te activeren. Elke ervaring is een performance/installatie waarin de inbreng van de deelnemers het verhaal vormgeeft. De immersie berust op zowel virtuele als fysieke elementen — denk aan klei, krijt, zand en water, gecombineerd met VR-headsets, animatie, voice-over en soundscape.
