synopsis

In 1545, the young Marguerite de la Rocque is banished to a deserted island as punishment for a forbidden relationship. Alone with her maid and limited supplies, she must survive in a hostile environment. Faced with hunger, cold and isolation, Marguerite displays incredible resilience and ingenuity. Based on a true story of courage, survival and overcoming impossible odds.
En 1545, Marguerite de la Rocque, une jeune femme, est bannie sur une île déserte, punie pour une relation interdite. Seule avec sa servante et des provisions limitées, elle doit survivre dans un environnement hostile. Face à la faim, au froid et à l'isolement, Marguerite fait preuve d'une résilience et d'une ingéniosité incroyables. Inspiré d'une histoire vraie de courage, de lutte et de dépassement des circonstances impossibles.
In 1545 wordt Marguerite de la Rocque, een jonge vrouw, verbannen naar een verlaten eiland, als straf voor een verboden relatie. Alleen met haar dienstmeid en beperkte voorraden moet ze zien te overleven in een vijandige omgeving. Terwijl ze wordt geconfronteerd met honger, kou en isolatie, toont Marguerite een ongelooflijke veerkracht en vindingrijkheid. Gebaseerd op een waargebeurd verhaal over moed, strijd en het overwinnen van onmogelijke omstandigheden.
