An 'astronaut' is an emigre from Hong Kong who tries to settle in a foreign country and build a new home for his family. Ron is an astronaut living in Belgium, while his girlfriend Lisa still lives in China. When riots break out around Hong Kong’s university, their relationship is stretched to breaking point.
Een 'astronaut' verwijst naar een migrant uit Hong Kong die op zoek is naar een betere thuis in het buitenland. Ron is een astronaut die in België woont en wacht op de komst van zijn vriendin Lisa. Helaas stellen de rellen van de Poly University in Hong Kong de langeafstandsrelatie op de proef.
