An animated short about the attempts of a cockroach to get back onto dry land.

A cockroach is sleeping peacefully on a leaf in the brush. Thanks to the interference of a curious hand, our friend ends up in the water. The cockroach wants to get back to his leaf, but he is surrounded by dangers. By sacrificing his antennae and legs one by one he remains in control of the situation and, after an intense journey across the sea and through the air, he manages to get back on dry land. Miraculously, all his legs and antennae have washed ashore. With all his limbs back on his body, he lies down on a leaf to gaze at the stars until, exhausted from his adventure, he falls asleep.
Een kakkerlak ligt vredig te slapen op zijn veilige blaadje tussen het struikgewas. Door toedoen van een nieuwsgierige hand belandt onze vriend in het water. De kakkerlak wil terug naar zijn blad, maar is omringd door gevaren. Door zijn sprieten en poten één voor één op te offeren blijft hij de situatie meester en na een intense tocht over de zee en door de lucht, bereikt de kakkerlak weer vasteland. Als bij wonder, liggen daar al zijn poten en sprieten aangespoeld. Met al zijn ledematen terug aan het lijf, gaat hij op een willekeurig blad naar de sterren liggen kijken. Tot hij - uitgeput van zijn avontuur - in slaap valt.
