A documentary portrait of Herman Daled who, in 2011, decided to sell off his collection of conceptual art to the MoMA in New York.

In June 2011, Herman Daled decided to sell off his collection of conceptual art to the MoMA in New York. A man looks back at his past, and that of an aesthetic and philosophical movement that marked the second half of the 20th century. Exploring this movement, our film has chosen to hold up a mirror between a man and a philosophy.
En juin 2011, Herman Daled décide de se séparer de sa collection d’art conceptuel. Le MoMA de New York lui a proposé de la racheter. L’homme se retourne sur son passé, celui d’un courant esthétique et philosophique qui a marqué la deuxième moitié du 20ème siècle. Explorant ce mouvement, ce film choisit de tendre un miroir entre un homme et une philosophie.

De man blikt terug op zijn verleden, op een esthetische en filosofische stroming die de tweede helft van de 20ste eeuw heeft gekenmerkt.
