synopsis

In the land of 1001 nights law dictates that the Emperor must take a new wife if his current one does not bear a son within seven years of marriage. On the night of their sixth wedding anniversary, the Emperor receives a visit from the Chamberlain, his loyal servant and confidant. The two men begin the covert operation to find and prepare a virgin candidate who might become the new Emperor's Wife. The young candidate, Sabah, is secretly transported into an isolated wing of the Imperial Palace. In this prison of fairytale room furnished with Imperial gifts, Sabah is tutored by the Imperial Masters and spied upon by the Emperor. If the current Empress conceives a child within the next year, everyone in this secret wing must be executed. Sabah's violent protests nearly sabotage the entire operation. Falling in love with Sabah, the Chamberlain enters the secret wing to win her affection. Quite a sacrifice: in order to safeguard Sabah's virginity, any man entering the secret wing must become an eunuch!

Les deux hommes commencent une opération secrète pour trouver et préparer une candidate vierge qui pourrait devenir la nouvelle femme de l'empereur. Sabah, la jeune candidate est secrètement transportée dans une aile isolée du palais impérial. Dans cette prison de conte de fées, garnie de cadeaux impériaux, Sabah reçoit des cours donnés par un maître impérial et est espionnée par l'empereur. Si l'impératrice actuelle accouche d'un fils dans l'année qui suit, toutes les personnes de l'aile secrète doivent être exécutées. Les protestations violentes de Sabah mettent presque en péril l'opération dans son ensemble. Le Chamberlain, tombant amoureux de Sabah, entre dans l'aile secrète pour gagner son affection. Ce qui n'est pas un petit sacrifice : Afin de sauvegarder la virginité de Sabah, tous les hommes entrant dans l'aile secrète doivent devenir des eunuques !
