Father John is invited to join an extreme Catholic cult whose members believe that it's God's will to rid Earth of all human evil. When he refuses, he is arrested for heresy. With a small band of followers, Father John decides to track the cult to its base and confront the Master Inquisitor himself.
Père John, un orphelin et ex-ranger dont le meilleur ami a perdu la vie lors de l'Opération Fury en Grenade, entre dans une église et rencontre le cardinal de l'Eglise romane. Celui-ci convainc John de devenir prêtre et l'envoie étudier la Bible. 25 ans plus tard, John, qui est prêtre dans l'église d'une petite ville paisible, reçoit la visite de l'évêque supérieur. Père John est invité au conseil d'un culte catholique extrême persuadé que Dieu lui a donné la mission de libérer la terre de tous les maux humains. Père John refuse cette proposition et est kidnappé et arrêté pour hérésie et conspiration contre Dieu.
