It was a time when life was like a suspense novel and you never knew how it would end. But life is stranger than fiction and now, more than 60 years later, The Last Passage returns to the scene of one fateful night in a farmhouse in the Pyrenees when six strangers from five different countries were arrested. The strands of each person's story unravel to tell the larger story of the hundreds of ordinary people who formed a vast escape network during World War II.
Il fut un temps où la vie était comme un roman à suspens et vous ne saviez jamais prédire comment elle se terminerait. Mais la vie est plus étrange que la fiction et aujourd’hui, plus de soixante ans après les faits, The Last Passage nous fait revivre la scène d’une nuit fatidique dans une ferme des Pyrénées où six étrangers de nationalités différentes furent arrêtés. Les fragments d’histoires des six personnes s’entrelacent pour raconter l’histoire plus générale des centaines de personnes qui formèrent un réseau d’évasion pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.

Maar het echte leven overstijgt de fictie en vandaag, meer dan 60 jaar later, keert The Last Passage terug naar een noodlottige nacht op een boerderij in de Pyreneeën, waar zes vreemdelingen uit vijf verschillende landen werden gearresteerd. De verschillende verhaallijnen van elk van hen ontsluieren het grote verhaal van honderden gewone mensen die samen het Komeet-netwerk vormden tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
