Utilising stop-motion images of pottery, the story of the now defunct pottery factory, La Louvière's Royal Boch.

In 1841, the pottery factory Royal Boch was established and the city of La Louvière was constructed around it. In 2011, only one building remains of what once was a gigantic factory site: the open space is like a scar on the landscape of the city. Everyone who lives in La Louvière has had a link with the factory and they talk about their personal connections.
En 1841 l’usine de poterie Royal Boch était fondée. La ville de La Louvière a été construite autour de l’usine. En 2011, il ne reste qu’un bâtiment de ce qui fut un gigantesque site industriel. L’espace ouvert est comme une cicatrice dans le paysage de la ville. Chaque habitant de La Louvière a un lien avec l’usine. Plusieurs personnes expliquent pourquoi cette usine est si importante pour elles et comment elles y sont attachées. Leurs histoires prennent vie grâce à des images de poterie passées une à une.
