A surprise awaits the people in a Flemish town when they gather to celebrate the defeat of a project to build a refugee centre.

On a winter's evening, the inhabitants of the Flemish town of Broekem gather in the local parish hall to celebrate an important event: thanks to the help of local politician Tibo Deleyder they have succeeded in preventing a refugee centre from being built in their village. On this festive evening, Monique, the caretaker of the parish hall, will be serving them the classic carbonnade à la flamande. It promises to be an evening to remember...
Par une soirée d’hiver, les habitants de la ville flamande de Broekem se réunissent dans la salle paroissiale locale pour célébrer un événement important : grâce à l’aide du politicien local Tibo Deleyder, ils ont réussi à empêcher la construction d’un centre pour réfugiés dans leur village. Pour cette soirée festive, Monique, la responsable de la salle paroissiale, leur servira la classique carbonade flamande. Une soirée mémorable en perspective…
Op een winteravond komen de inwoners van de Vlaamse gemeente Broekem samen in de plaatselijke parochiezaal om een belangrijke gebeurtenis te vieren: dankzij de hulp van een lokale politicus Tibo Deleyder hebben ze de komst van een asielcentrum in hun dorp kunnen verhinderen.
