A production of The Tempest in a refugee centre turns into a trial for its director.

Dara is staying in an asylum centre outside Brussels, where he is working on an adaptation of The Tempest. Jina, a mysterious woman in a tree, is angry that Dara has cast only men in his play. Two days before his premiere, Dara is accused of arson and must find the only witness who can exonerate him: Iman, who plays the role of the magician Prospero. But Iman has vanished. Distraught, Dara returns to the centre, where Jina also seems to have gone up in smoke. On the night of the premiere, Dara stands in the wings. To the sound of heavy rain and thunder, Jina steps onto the stage.
Dara verblijft in een asielcentrum buiten Brussel waar hij in samenwerking met een artistiek platform werkt aan een bewerking van The Tempest. Jina, een mysterieuze vrouw in een boom, is kwaad dat Dara enkel mannen heeft gecast voor zijn stuk. Twee dagen voor zijn première wordt Dara beschuldigd van brand en moet hij op zoek naar de enige getuige die hem kan vrijspreken: Iman, zijn hoofdrolspeler die de rol van de magiër bekleedt. Maar Iman is spoorloos. Radeloos keert Dara terug naar het centrum, waar ook Jina in rook lijkt opgegaan. Op de avond van de première staat Dara in de donkere coulissen. Onder het geluid van zware regen en donder betreedt Jina de scène.
