synopsis

The System explores the struggle to change our harmful societal and economic systems amidst a crumbling world. The film follows antifascist Tadzio Müller, Extinction Rebellion co-founder Pippi van Ommen, and diplomat Henk Ovink, who seek meaningful change. But as their actions, conferences and demonstrations fail and the situation worsens, they are confronted with the uncertainty of the future. A cinematic experience, driven by Lee Ranaldo's score, challenging us to embrace the unknown.
The System explore la lutte pour changer nos systèmes sociétaux et économiques nuisibles dans un monde en déclin. Le film suit l'antifasciste Tadzio Müller, la cofondatrice d'Extinction Rebellion Pippi van Ommen et le diplomate Henk Ovink, qui cherchent à opérer un changement significatif. Mais lorsque leurs actions, conférences et manifestations échouent et que la situation empire, ils sont confrontés à l'incertitude de l'avenir. The System est une expérience cinématographique, soutenue par la bande-son de Lee Ranaldo, qui nous incite à embrasser l'inconnu.
