synopsis

In 1944, at the height of the Second World War, a British glider pilot, a Dutch boy fighting for the Germans, and a Dutch woman with the Resistance, all end up involved in the Battle of the Scheldt. Their choices differ, but they share the same goal: freedom.
November 1944. Op het onder water gelopen Walcheren vechten tienduizenden geallieerden en Duitsers tegen elkaar. De wegen van een Nederlandse jongen die voor de Duitsers vecht, een Engelse gliderpiloot en een Zeeuws verzetsmeisje kruisen elkaar. Ze worden geconfronteerd met cruciale keuzes die gaan over hun eigen en andermans vrijheid.
