synopsis

Ella and Fiyoung and old - meet each other in 'Lifemotion', a place where people come together to experience their last days in this world. Just before Ella and Fien's lives are about to end, they develop a strange but sincere friendship in contrast to the cold world around them.
Euthanasie is verplicht voor 65-jarigen en terminaal zieken. Sterven wordt voorgesteld als een solidaire heldendaad. Het gaat in tegen de overbevolking, de vergrijzing en het genereert meer geld in de ziekenkas. Ella en Fien, jong en oud, ontmoeten elkaar op de plaats waar iedereen die moet sterven gezamenlijk de laatste dagen beleeft. Net voor hun opgelegde levenseinde ontwikkelen ze een vreemde maar oprechte vriendschap die in schril contrast staat met de kille wereld waarvan ze afscheid nemen.
