More than 10,000 cyclists have taken part in the Tour de France, but only six of them were black. Eighteen-year-old Biniam Girmay, a promising cyclist from Eritrea, wants to change that. Over four years we watch his performance develop, first during the big African tours, then in a European pro team. When he marries in Eritrea and becomes a father, the distance takes its toll.
