A meditation on family, distance and death, in the form of a letter from a son to a mother.

His mother is in intensive care, with little hope of survival, while he is on another continent with no possibility of seeing her. So he composes a letter to her, drawing on Super-8 memories of their constant house moves, and imagining her dreams as she lies in an induced coma, so far away.
Terwijl een moeder op de intensive care ligt met weinig hoop op overleving, bevindt haar zoon zich op een ander continent zonder de mogelijkheid haar te zien. Met vertellingen van de onderbewuste ervaringen van zijn overlevende moeder en herinneringen aan zijn voortdurende verhuizingen componeert de regisseur een essay-brief over dood, familie en afstand.
